Co-founder
Mark Rampolla
Mark has spent his career building what didn't yet exist. He began in technology at IBM before joining the Peace Corps, then went on to lead a 300-person business across Latin America for a Fortune 50 company. He founded ZICO Coconut Water, growing it from an idea into a category-creating brand that was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company. Along the way, ZICO helped create an $8 billion global industry and 200,000 jobs. Years later, Mark bought the company back and is now building it toward $1B+.
Over the last two decades, Mark has invested in and advised more than 100 entrepreneurs. Today, he leads Ground Force Capital, a $600 million investment firm partnering with founders, CEOs, and executive teams to build enduring companies. He is also the bestselling author of High-Hanging Fruit and An Entrepreneur's Guide to Freedom.
Across every company he built, invested in, or served, Mark kept discovering the same truth: the biggest challenges were never strategy, capital, or execution. They were human. Fear. Identity. Communication. Trust.
